WatchOS 7 to include new “International” watch faces

9to5Mac, a website specializing in revealing new information about the OS devices, recently revealed that the watchOS 7 is likely to get at least one additional new watch face. Along with this news, the website also revealed several new features of iOS 14 based on the internal system codes.

The news was circulating regarding the watchOS 7 that claimed that it will introduce a new watch face called “Infograph Pro”. The same watch will have a built-in tachymeter. A tachymeter is an analog watch scale that is located around the dial, used mainly for the purpose of measuring speed and distance based on travel time.

The new addition of the tachymeter is not the only change that is coming to the watchOS 7. Reportedly, the watch will get a new watch face. The new watch face is most likely to be digital, and some experts have given it the name of “International”.

There is a direct link between the name and the watch face that is to be displayed digitally. The news as published by 9to5Mac believes that the digital space will most likely show flags from different countries. The website also published a few photos to give us an idea of how the watch might look like.

Furthermore, Apple apparently is also working on a new method for sharing personal watch faces with others through iMessage, AirDrop or other apps. However, this does not ensure that all of the watch faces will be share-able. For example, the watch faces from Nike and Hermes are exclusive to some Apple Watch models and it is highly unlikely that these faces can be shared with others.

watchOS 7 is expected to include sleep tracking support. Based on the iOS 14 codes, we can say that there will be a new “Sleep” complication to show related data right from some watch faces.
