Xiaomi to give more to India with its newly launched Redmi Note 9 Pro Max
Xiaomi India has begun the launch event for its upcoming Redmi Note 9 series. Xiaomi India MD, Manu Kumar Jain started off the event with a general introduction.
He was quick to point out the fact that Xiaomi shipped more smartphones than any other brand’s feature phone and smartphone combined tally and then went on to introduce the new Redmi Note 9 Pro Max smartphone.
The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max has a 6.67-inch display making it the biggest screen by Redmi yet. Jain mentioned that the smartphone features an ‘aura balance’ design. The smartphone has an aspect ratio of 20:9. The smartphone has a 3.5mm headphone jack, an infrared emitter and a fingerprint sensor that is mounted on its side.
The smartphone is protected with the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 both at the front and at its back. The smartphone features a quad camera setup on its rear. The camera setup consists of a 64 MP primary camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 5 MP macro camera, and a 2 MP depth sensor camera. The smartphone features a 32MP in-display front camera.
The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max is the first Redmi Note device to come with an 8 nm chipset. The smartphone runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC and has up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of UFS2.1 storage which can be expanded through the microSD card slot. The smartphone is fueled by a 5020mAh battery. Redmi Note 9 Pro Max comes with 33W fast charging support, and it can fuel up half the battery in 30 minutes.
The smartphone is available in three colors, Aurora Blue, White, and Interstellar Black.
The smartphone will be available in two variants, a 4GB+ 64GB storage, and the 6GB+ 128GB storage. The 4GB variant is priced at INR. 12,999, and the 6GB variant is priced at INR. 15,999.
