9 Brands You're About to See on Every Fashion Girl You Know

The fashion industry is always evolving and that includes the talent within it. Discovering and celebrating emerging brands is one of my personal favorite endeavors as an editor so it is with great pleasure that I present you nine of the emerging designers that have been on my radar this year. Below you will find a mix of designers and brands that are both brand new and currently having a major moment in the spotlight.

As you scroll through the below nine emerging brands, take time to read some important facts about each, click through their Instagram pages (I also suggest a follow), and shop some of the pieces that confirmed to me that each and every one of these emerging designers is bound to be seen on the likes of fashion girls and influencers all over the world.

Championing up-and-coming talent is one of the most important things we can do as shoppers, editors, and creators, and hopefully, the list below will bring forth some names that are new and exciting to you now and for the long haul.

Tank Air is a slow fashion brand that focuses on style and aesthetic, yes, but more importantly, ethics and sustainability. 95% of Tank Air's pieces are made from luxury deadstock fabric, the mailers are made in the U.S. out of 100% recycled paper and are naturally biodegradable and fully recyclable.

Founder and designer Teni “Tia” Adeola is heavily inspired by the Renaissance period which you can clearly see come alive through her ruffled and voluminous designs. Although Tia is in her early 20s, her designs have already been worn by major names like Gigi Hadid and Lizzo.

Fe Noel is a Brooklyn-based designer who finds most of her inspiration from her Caribbean heritage and her family. With every design, Fe aims to help women embrace their femininity, and after taking a look at the silhouettes below, you'll see what we mean.

The name Tove originates from Denmark and means strength and beauty. The designs of cofounders Camille Perry and Holly Wright reflect exactly that. This London-based designer duo creates clothing that is both luxurious and wearable—the perfect combination.

German designer Johannes Boehl Cronau has been in the fashion industry for a long time having gone to school at Parsons in Paris, studying under Haider Ackerman, and much more. After taking multiple trips to Japan, the Middle East, and Italy, he found himself enamored by global traditions and values including everything from painting techniques to antique drapery.

Lasette was founded on the idea that lingerie should not only be reserved for the overwhelming stereotype of intimate activities but for your own personal pleasure and style. Designer and founder Shiara Robinson created the perfect assortment of lingerie that has versatility, unlike anything you've seen before.

Aleksandre Akhalkatsishvili is a Georgian designer who, if you ask me, turns all garments into the coolest versions of themselves. From cropped wraparound leather jackets to some of the most unique sleeves I've ever seen, this brand is certainly one to watch this year and beyond.

Hanifa's stunning garments fit women sizes 0 to 20, and when I say fit, I mean these pieces were basically tailor-made for a woman's natural curves. If you're looking for exciting new pieces to liven up your wardrobe, I suggest you take a closer look.

This Korean brand's designs are meant to last the test of time. Featuring quality tailoring with a contemporary twist, these pieces are the definition of quality basics that will help you build a well-rounded wardrobe.

Next up, seven things that make a basic tank top look exceptionally cool.
