Sony introduces WF-XB700 and WH-CH710N wireless noise-canceling headphones


Sony announced a new set of true wireless headphones and some high end over the ear noise-canceling headphones.

The true wireless XB700 is a set of small in-ear headphones that come with long battery life. Sony claims that these wireless headphones can offer up to nine hours of service on a single charge.

Furthermore, if the user is on the go and they run out of charge, the XB700 will offer another nine hours in the charging case. Additionally, the headphones come with a quick charge function whereby just ten minutes of charging will provide 60 minutes of uninterrupted service.

Apart from the fact that the headphones are noise-canceling, the headphones will be water and sweatproof. The headphones come with an IPX4 water-resistant rating.

Another set of headphones released by Sony is the over the ear WH-CH710N. The name may sound like a mouthful but it comes with some whopping specs. The WH-CH710N utilizes Sony’s special Artificial Intelligence Noise Cancellation (AINC) technology that constantly analyses the ambient sound components and automatically selects the most effective noise-canceling mode for the user. The over the earphones come equipped with dual microphones facing forwards and backward and has the ability to capture ambient noise.

The Sony WH-CH710N features a Li-ion battery that offers up to 35 hours of audio playback in a single charge. The headphones can offer an hour-long playback with just ten minutes of charging. The earphones come with oval-shaped soft earpads and an adjustable metal slider that gives a comfortable fit.

Sony is one of the leading companies when it comes to audio. Since the company’s last earphones and headphones elicited satisfactory reactions from its users, the new set of headphones too are expected to be up to the mark. As for the pricing, Sony is yet to announce the pricing for both the headphones.
