No strings attached: Xiaomi Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 with features you’ll love

Xiaomi launched its Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 in a global event. Many other Mi devices were also launched alongside. The earphones will be available in white color and will be available in Europe soon. Xiaomi hasn’t stated the exact date. Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 are priced at 79.99 Euros or approximately 6,600 INR.

Sound

Starting with the sound quality, the earphones consist of a 14.2 mm large speaker with a composite dynamic coil. This provides deep bass sound. The mid-range is mellow and pleasant, and the high notes sound crisp and clear. Xiaomi promises a very enjoyable and pleasant sound experience.

For further boosting the sound quality, Xiaomi also offers its latest headphones with LHDC Bluetooth high definition tone. This is again supported only on specific phone models.

Built for Mi phones

The Mi Wireless Earphones are designed for Mi phones. And Xiaomi facilitates quick and easy automatic pop-up pairing of the earphones with the Mi device once its brought out of its case.

Xiaomi has made it clear that this feature is available only on specific Mi/Redmi models which have the latest MIUI version installed. The other models will be updated via software updates.

Noise cancellation for better call quality

Moving on, the earphones have dual-microphone which comes with an Environment noise cancellation feature. This decreases the interference and is designed to provide high-quality calls.

Sensors enabling auto-pause

The earphones have built-in infrared sensors to detect if you are wearing them or not. If not wearing, it auto-pauses the content you are listening to. So that you can easily interact with friends without losing any minute of your song or video.

Double-tap controls

In a very innovative step, the earphone can control various features like call, activation of voice assistant and the most obvious: playing of music. A simple double-tap on either side or both activates these controls.

Fast charging and longer playback time

The charging feature of the case is also a huge positive. The earphone is set to charge automatically once placed in the case. Both the set and the case support fast charging. And the earphones take only one hour to reach full charge. And in a single play, the earphones can run for 4 hours. However, the music playback can be extended to almost 14 hours if used with the charging case.
