Xiaomi announced its AIoT router, the AX3600 with 7 antennas
Xiaomi is all set to launch its latest smartphone the Xiaomi 10. Apart from the introduction of this new smartphone, Xiaomi will also be launching a new Wi-Fi router. The latest router will be Xiaomi’s first Wi-Fi 6 router called the Xiaomi AIoT Router AX3600.
Xiaomi officials exposed how the new router will look like, in a poster. The new poster which showcases the new AIoT router confirms that the Xiaomi AIoT router AX3600 will make use of 7 antennas.
What can be said about the router has to be discerned from the official poster. From the poster, it can be deciphered that the Xiaomi AIoT router AX3600 has the traditional horizontal design. The 7 external antennas are symmetrically placed both on the right and left side, with 5 antennas out on its rear side, and a single antenna put on each side, right and left. Furthermore, the router features 6 high-performance external signal amplifiers, a 2.4GHz, and 5GHz frequency bands.
The new router is fully equipped to transmit high-performance, as mentioned above, and also it is designed for longer signal transmission and stronger wall penetration. The frequency bands come packed with 2 and 4 external high-performance signal amplifiers to deliver what Xiaomi had promised regarding its strength and durability.
The Xiaomi AIoT router AX3600 is equipped with Qualcomm’s 4-core A53 1GHz enterprise-grade professional chip, making the router the first-ever one to come equipped with the enterprise-grade chip for the consumer market. The holes on the body of the router will work as heat dissipaters.
The device comes with 512MB of large memory making it competent enough to cope with the various devices connected to the router. Moreover, it has the ability to discover new devices and configure the network with one click.
For the pricing, we have to wait for Xiaomi to announce it officially.
