UK has unlocked its Android 10 update for S9+ devices


According to Sammobile, with One UI 2 and January 2020 security patch in the US, several carrier-locked variants of the Galaxy Note 9 have started receiving updates to Android 10. The update has also been rolled out in Germany for those using the S9 or S9+ on Xfinity Mobile. Lately, we found that the UK has also unlocked its Android 10 update for S9+.

With posters sharing information on the Android 10 upgrades, confirmation has come from Reddit as they’ve received on their Galaxy S9+ devices. This is a 1762.68 MB sizeable update at around and that brings with it firmware version G965FXXU7DTA3/ G965FOXM7DTAA. The 1st January 2020 Android security patch is also brought along with the update.

In the US and Germany, Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus users have started receiving a stable Android 10 update with One UI 2.0. The update comes with software version DTA5 on Xfinity Mobile-locked models in the US and as of version DTAA on Global variants in Germany.

Devices include models from Xfinity Mobile, US Cellular, Comcast, and Spectrum Mobile; all of which receive the software version N960USQU3DTA4. In recent weeks the update brings with it the stable One UI 2.0 update which we’ve taken a closer look at on the Galaxy Note 10+.

Regarding the users in India, the only beta is currently available for now. However, the update ranges from 1800 to 1900 MB in size depending on whether you are using a Galaxy S9 or S9+. We’ll update you with any further confirmation.
