PBL LIVE Broadcast: Star Sports Telugu, Kannada and Star in channel roster

The Premier Badminton League is growing big by the season. For the host broadcaster Star Sports, too. Star Sports clusters two latest regional entities – Star Sports 1 Telugu and all set to start Star Sports 1 Kannada – along with Stat Utsav have been added to the roaster of channels for the LIVE Broadcast of the PBL Season 2.

The Star Sports move confirms that as the Star Sports 1 Kannada will go on air on the coming Saturday, Premier Badminton League (PBL) will be one of the prime live content.

There Premier Badminton League season 4 has started and their is a good news for the badminton lovers in the country. Along with the marquee Star Sports & Star Sports HD channels, the league will now also be broadcasted on Star Sports 1 Telugu, Star Sports 1Kannada 1 and on Star Utsav in Hindi.

For sports lovers on the move, the league is also being streamed LIVE on Star’s OTT platform Hotstar.

This is the first time that the PBL will be broadcast LIVE in 4 regional languages, giving major boost to the sport as well as league in India.

PBL, organized by the Badminton Association of India and Sportzlive is also striking rich with the sponsors this time. The league which has Vodafone as its title sponsor has signed Indian Oil as powered by partner for the season. According to ET Brand Equity, league has also signed Association of Mutual Funds of India, Apple, Red Bull, Tide and Bisleri as associate sponsors for the season.

According to the league is expected to generate $20-25 crore in sponsorships.

The Premier Badminton League went on air from Saturday with marquee clash between PV Sindhu & Carolina Marin. The season finale will be played on 13th January in Bengaluru.

Sindhu is representing Hyderabad Hunters while Carolina is the Pune 7 Aces elite player.
