Xiaomi launches Qiao Dragonfly infrared pulse antipruritic stick
In another few months, summer will return again with the promise of unbearable heat. Summer is the breeding ground for mosquitoes whose bite leads to itching of the skin. Furthermore, the antipruritic creams and liquids are harmful if used as a remedy, for the skin.
Xiaomi has the answer to the itching. On April 4th, Xiaomi launched a new antipruritic and anti-itch product called Qiao Dragonfly infrared pulse antipruritic stick with a crowdfunding price of 69 yuan.
The pulse uses the physical infrared thermal pulse technology and temperature which can stimulate the detoxification reaction of our bodies after being bitten. It quickly changes the itching substances in the saliva of the mosquitoes which aids in reducing itching in the skin.
The Dragonfly infrared pulse has a linear motor vibrator inside that helps with the massaging to help reduce the itching.
The stick comes with precise temperature control, in that unlike most of the similar products available in the market which only offer a certain temperature range, the dragonfly stick can accurately control the temperature.
The service is offered to a wide range of people belonging to different age groups. The stick comes in two modes, one for adults and the other one for infants. 40℃ is suitable for babies over 1 year old, and 50℃ to meet the needs of adults.
The stick features infrared pulse technology that helps with distributing the heat into the skin evenly so that the itchiness can be altered. In effect what it does is that it creates a numbing effect that weakens the itching.
This infrared pulse antipruritic stick is crowdfunded by Xiaomi bears the simple design of the Chinese smartphone giant. Xiaomi had ventured into home products as well and this is another example of that. As mentioned before, it comes with the crowdfunding price of 69 yuan.
