OPPO Enco Free earbuds were to launch at MWC 2020. But the tech event canceled
Brian Shen, the Vice President, and the President of Global Marketing at OPPO tweeted that at the MWC 2020, OPPO will launch its earphones, the OPPO Enco Free in Black color.
Shen’s tweet also mentions that not only these earphones but the tech enthusiasts should also look forward to other gadgets and devices that OPPO would introduce at the MWC 2020 such as devices with 5G technology and new IoT products.
The OPPO Enco Free comes with 13.4mm drivers and a dynamic bass promise. Moreover, OPPO claims that it comes with an FPC positioning system paired with a dual magnetic circuit and an aluminum-magnesium and titanium composite diaphragm which will ensure world-class sound quality.
The earphones come with a half in-ear design. To ensure a better fit for every user, the earphones offer three different silicon tips in three different sizes. Moreover, the earphones are sweat-proof.
What is unique about the Oppo Enco Free is that the earbuds come equipped with a technology called the wearing detection. It detects when the earbuds are not in use or when the user is not wearing them, and accordingly pauses the audio, and it connects with the phone whenever the user opens its case.
The earbuds run on a 31mAh battery and promise 25 hours of battery life with the case, and 5 hours without it, on a single charge. The USB Type-C can charge the case in 110 minutes, and the earbuds in 70 minutes.
The Bluetooth 5.0 can connect the earbuds both to Android devices and iOS devices.
OPPO had launched the earbuds in December 2019, and subsequently, it went on sale in China on and from 31st December 2019. It was priced at around INR. 7,100. At the MWC, OPPO is likely to showcase the earphones in Black color, and if no upgrade is added, we can expect it to be of the same price.
