Seven Lions’ Wife Emma Just Uploaded Her First Ever DJ Set

This past weekend was the first ever Ophelia Records showcase in San Francisco featuring sets from Crystal Skies, Last Heroes, Dimibo, and last but not least, Emmibabi, aka Seven Lions‘ own wife, Emma.

Ophelia Records, for those who aren’t familiar, is Seven Lions’ label. This past Saturday, the label hosted a night at Mezzanine SF in the city to support its artists, and Emma played her first DJ set. She shared her feelings on the nerve-racking set on Instagram:

“I’m not even sure where to begin. It’s taken a lot of work for me (who has awful stage fright) to get myself up on stage in front of people and perform but I’m breaking out of that shell now and all of the love and energy I received from the crowd was overwhelmingly incredible! Thank you to @_westfest_ @sevenlionsmusic @ophelia_records for putting this epic event together. I went to my first electronic show in San Fran in 2007 and it has always been a special place for me in music. Getting to play @mezzaninesf was a dream! Thank you thank you! P.s. I recorded that set so I could share with with all of you who couldn’t make it. Stay tuned for more!”

The set is a 73-minute uplifting house set with beautiful melodies and a consistently rolling rhythm and track selection that never rests too long on a single moment. Check out the mix below!
