Harmanpreet to lead India in ICC Women’s World Twenty20

Harmanpreet Kaur will lead the 16-member India squad at the ICC Women’s World T20. Smriti Mandhana has been named the vice-captain of the team that also includes seasoned Mithali Raj.

The All-India Women’s Selection Committee has picked the Indian Women’s Cricket Team for the upcoming ICC Women’s World Twenty20 2018.

The sixth edition of the tournament will be held in the West Indies from 9 to 24 November. India will play all their group stage games in Guyana.

India are placed in Group B along with Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan and Ireland in the 10-team event. The tournament kicks off with the match between India and New Zealand in Guyana.

ICC Women’s World Twenty20 (India’s schedule): November 9 : vs New Zealand (Guyana), November 11 : vs Pakistan (Guyana); November 15: vs Ireland (Guyana) and November 17: vs Australia (Guyana).
