Asian Games 2018: Full Schedule, Live Broadcast In India

The 18th edition of the Asian Games is set to kick-off in Indonesia on 19^th August 2018. The Asian Games are scheduled from 18^th Aug to 2^nd Sept in the Indonesian cities of Jakarta and Palembang. While the opening ceremony will be held today at the GBK main stadium in Jakarta, the event will start from Tomorrow (19^th Aug).

The sporting extravaganza will see around 10,000 athletes from 45 countries compete in 58 games. 524-member Indian contingent comprises of 277 men and 247 women athletes, who will compete in 36 sports disciplines.

The Indian sports lovers can catch the 18th Asian Games action from Indonesia on the six Sony Sports Cluster channels. The tournament will be broadcast live on Sony Ten Network and can also be live streamed on SonyLiv website and its mobile application.

India’s Performance at previous Asian Games

India finished 8^th on the Medal tally in 2014 Asian Games with 57 medals, whereas 6^th in 2010 with 65 medals in China. In the upcoming games, India have a lot of expectations from our wrestlers, Paddlers, Badminton players, Kabaddi Team, Hockey Team and many more who had a great outing in the recently concluded Commonwealth Games. Hope India could deliver a great show at Jakarta and Palembang.
